Route 1
This was the largest single public works project ever undertaken in Delaware. This 51-mile long new highway connects the upstate area of Wilmington and the I-95 corridor with the state capitol of Dover, minimizing impacts to Delaware’s environmental resources while providing necessary transportation improvements made this a challenging engineering accomplishment. |
