TRAFFIC ALERT - Weekend Ramp Closure Along I-95 At U.S. Route 202 Interchange
Public Advised to Avoid Construction & Seek Alternate Routes
Wilmington -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is advising the traveling public that the realignment of the exit ramp, hot-mix paving, and temporary barrier relocation will require ramp closures along I-95 northbound at the U.S. Route 202 interchange.
The closure of ramp at Exit 8 northbound I-95 for both the northbound and the southbound Route 202 will begin at 5:00 a.m., Saturday, January 12, and continue until Monday morning 5:00 a.m. January 14.
1. All traffic on northbound I-95 will be detoured to Marsh Road to southbound I-95 exit 8B to northbound U.S. 202.
2. To go south on U.S. 202, all traffic on northbound I-95 will be detoured to Marsh Road to southbound I-95 Exit 8B to northbound U.S. 202. Traffic will travel on northbound U.S. 202 and make a right onto Weldin Road, take right on Foulk Road, take a left on U.S. 202 southbound (Concord Pike).
These closures are pending weather conditions and will be postponed to the following weekend, if inclement conditions exist.
