Dear Applicant,

Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Delaware Department of Transportation's (DelDOT) Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) Program. I appreciate your interest.

This innovative volunteer program offers the public an opportunity to actively support DelDOT's anti-litter campaign in a visible way. It offers organizations an inexpensive, but important, project that gives members the satisfaction of making their community, and Delaware a better place to live. At the same time, it generates publicity for the group's service activities.

For your convenience, I am providing information on the history of our program, the conditions of membership and safety regulations. Please carefully review these materials with all potential members before completing the enclosed application, and note your responsibilities as a sponsor. Additionally, please retain a copy of this packet for your records.

PS:  While we try to provide you with the road of your choice, it is not always possible due to the popularity of our program. If the road you wish to adopt is not available, we will be happy to work with you to find an acceptable road nearby.
