AASHTO LRFD - Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow
John M. Kulicki, Ph.D., P.E.
As President, CEO and Chief Engineer of Modjeski and Masters, Inc., Dr. Kulicki is responsible for quality assurance and assisting in marketing the firm. He has over thirty-five years of experience in virtually all aspects of fixed bridge analysis and design from overpasses to long span bridges. Currently, as Chief Engineer he is Principal-in-Charge of technical development for structural projects, develops design criteria and supervises all phases of design. A member of the National Academy of Engineering, he is a recognized authority in bridge engineering. He led the 50-person team that wrote the AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications and has assisted with their maintenance since adoption in 1993.
He is a graduate of Lafayette College and Lehigh University.
