Archaeology Month 2005

Hickory Bluff

The Hickory Bluff site was behind the DelDOT Administration Building in Dover.  We invite you to take a journey back several thousands years in time - during your lunch break, after work or on a weekend!  You can take a walk on the trail that meanders back to the site and see the landscape upon which people lived periodically for 8,000 years.  The poster (see below) is in a kiosk adjacent to the St. Jones river and the SR 1 Puncheon Run connector.
