Bridge Scour Countermeasures
| Bridge Scour Countermeasures involved installation of required bridge scour countermeasures at four locations: 2-103A: Hourglass Road over the Tappahanna Ditch, 2-249A: C&R Center (K-249) over Iron Mine Prong, 2-299B: Hemping Road over Marshyhope Creek, and 2053D: Willow Grove Road (SR 10) over Heron Ditch all in Central District.
This project also featured:
- A time sensitive project, which was accomplished with minimal equipment by in-house crews
- An estimated cost savings of $53,000 while working under adverse weather conditions
- Sediment tank custom built-in house
- Work coordinated with consideration of migratory bird restrictions at 2 of the 4 locations
