  • I have to wait a long time for the video to display - sometimes up to a minute or more.  Why?
    • Your connection speed is too slow for the option you've chosen.
    • Depending on the weather and the time of day or season, high user volume could slow down video display.
    • If your computer is old, the speed of your CPU(processor) may factor in to how quickly video displays in your browser.
  • Not all the cameras are working.
    • The camera may be broken or temporarily offline.  This could be due to a problem with the camera or problems outside our control (power outage in the area of the camera, traffic accident involving the pole where the camera resides, extreme weather conditions, etc.).  Cameras that are down usually do not show a gray box, rather a text message stating the camera is temporarily unavailable.  If you see this message, please report it using our feedback form.
  • There's a camera missing from the list that used to be there.
    • Cameras that are broken, down for repairs, or are being physically replaced and are not transmitting video via the web are taken off our camera list on the website.  Once the camera is back in operation, it is added back to the list.  This measure is done to help ease the frustration level of the web visitor who hopes to see live camera video from our website.
  • I use AOL and I can't view the cameras.  Where do I go to check my browser settings?
    • AOL is a unique entity in the Internet Community.  They have a hybrid browser that is partially customized and is quite unique in and of itself.  We highly recommend that AOL users download a browser to be used outside AOL.  Any web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc) will do.  Once you choose your browser, download and install it to your PC.  To access the internet using your new browser, dial in to AOL as you normally would.  Then, instead of surfing the net using the internal AOL browser, minimize the AOL screen and launch your new browser.  When attempting to view our cameras, make sure that you have all the proper settings in place.  Click here for more information on browser settings.

Still encountering viewing problems? Please click here for further assistance. (This is only to report problems viewing cameras. For other contact info, please visit the 'Contact Us' link at the top of our web pages.)  On the resulting camera feedback page, please enter your name, proper e-mail address, and description of problem (please be specific and include camera locations) then press 'Submit'. If you do not enter your proper e-mail address, we cannot help you because we will not be able to respond to you!

This page will send us the diagnostic information on the operating system, browser type and versions you are using to aid us in investigating the problem. We appreciate the opportunity to help and apologize for any inconvenience.
