News DART Driver Richard
Meier & Maintenance Team Represent Delaware in Las Vegas Representing all of Delaware, the DART First State Maintenance Team of Joe Megginson, Michael Grazela,and Michael Kent, along with DART First State Driver Richard Meier competed in the International Bus Roadeo held in Las Vegas in late September. This competition brings together the best transit employees in the industry to exhibit and measure the employee skills that go into providing our riders with safe and secure transportation. DTC's Driver Richard Meier finished 41st out of 85 contestants, and the DTC Maintenance Team finished 43rd out of 52 teams. |

State Introduces First of Its Modern, Wheelchair Accessible Bus Fleet
for New Castle County On July 3, 2002, DART First State (Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC)) introduced the first of its new modern and fully wheelchair accessible buses for its New Castle County (NCC) fleet. DTC is replacing 63 of its existing NCC buses that are between 12 and 14 years of age. Read more here. |
