October 2015 Public Workshop[an error occurred while processing this directive]
On October 14, 2015, DelDOT held a Public Workshop at the Millsboro Town Center to update and inform area residents about the path forward for the project. Specifically, DelDOT informed the public that the previous Blue Alternative, an eastern bypass of Millsboro, Dagsboro and Frankford, is no longer being considered. Instead, the Department is focused on a Modified Yellow Alternative, which includes:
- Widening existing US 113 to include 3 through lanes through the town of Millsboro.
- Modifying and/or removing several unsignalized crossovers from Millsboro to Selbyville.
- Providing a two-lane connector road from US 113 to SR 24 that bypasses downtown Millsboro.
