Project Limits:

Memorial Drive is approximately 1 mile in length that is bordered by two signalized intersections, US 13 and DE Route 9.

Project Need:

Apply a road diet to convert the two lane roadway to a single lane in each direction that was recommended in WILMAPCO's Route 9 Corridor Master Plan.

Project Overview:

The road diet along Memorial Dr should help encourage slower speeds, promote multi-modal usage, and shorten pedestrian crossing distances without significant impacts to operations or safety.
