I started at DelDOT right after college and have been here for over 20 years. It’s truly a nurturing and team-oriented environment. Over the years, I’ve built lasting connections with colleagues—many of which extend beyond the workplace. I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience across several divisions including Project Development, Maintenance & Operations, and now Traffic. Currently, I serve as the Traffic Studies Manager, and I credit my success to embracing new challenges and moving through various roles within the Department. DelDOT genuinely cares about its employees and ensures you have the resources and support needed to grow and thrive professionally.

Managing heavy construction projects for the Department has been a rewarding experience. The projects are challenging and crucial, impacting our communities directly. I love where I live and have always believed there’s no place like home. That mindset inspired me to give back to my community through public service. As a Civil Engineer Intern and now an Area Engineer at DelDOT, I take pride in pointing to a road, bridge, intersection, or traffic signal and saying, ‘I helped build that.’ Knowing that our work contributes to public safety gives me a deep sense of pride and purpose. In addition to alternative work arrangements, great healthcare benefits and a pension, you’ll also create lifelong friendships. I began my career with DelDOT’s Bridge Design section after graduating from Widener University in 2020. Before that, I interned with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for two summers. What sets DelDOT apart is the opportunity to be involved in every stage of a project and not just small tasks. It has been a great decision to join DelDOT, and I continue to grow as an Engineer with every opportunity they provide.
