DelDOT's Traffic Engineering Section studies, designs, and constructs traffic signals statewide. Traffic signal improvement locations are identified and prioritized based on known maintenance concerns, safety improvements/enhancements, ADA accommodations, and study feasibility in order to provide cost effective and timely projects. The locations identified do not include signals identified by a separate DelDOT Program or Project, such as Capital Transportation Project, Pavement & Rehabilitation project, Development Coordination project, Transportation Alternative Project, Municipal project, etc. Information about these projects may be available on DelDOT's Project website.
