This is a virtual workshop to inform the public on DELDOT's proposed new construction of the Boyd's Corner Maintenance Yard along with the associated roadway entrance improvements. The full-size maintenance yard will be constructed at 636 Boyd's Corner Road, Middletown, DE, adjacent to northbound Rt. 301. The former property was an abandoned construction storage site and is now owned by DELDOT as right of way (ROW). The site will feature a new maintenance shop, crew quarters, truck sheds, hopper racks, salt barn, wash pad, and other site amenities. Access to the site will be the main entrance off of Rt. 896 (Boyd's Corner Rd) with added right and left-turns into the site and roadway widening. The other entrance will be a restricted maintenance access entrance for DELDOT vehicles off of Rt. 301. This will include shoulder widening on Rt. 301.
